16" Kids Bikes
The Reid range of 16” kid’s bikes are built for children aged 4-7 years old (100-120cm tall) to develop their bike handling skills, boost their confidence and have a blast while doing it! This may be the first time your child has dealt with pedals and braking, so Reid 16” bikes are designed to make this learning process as safe and simple as possible. We’ve fitted an easy-to-reach hand brake for little fingers and a coaster brake if the rider prefers this method of control. These bikes are simple to steer, pedal and brake for optimal safety and fun while learning to ride. All Reid 16” kid’s bikes include removable training wheels.
16” refers to the diameter of the wheels on kid’s bikes. This differs from adult bikes, which are generally measured by the size of their frame. Kids grow fast, but don’t be tempted into buying too far ahead of their correct size. A bike that’s the right size will be easier to control, making learning and confidence building much easier.
