Looking for a fast, lightweight drop-bar road bike? The Osprey is a quick and nimble ride fitted with a carbon fork and Shimano Claris - perfect for stepping up your road riding distance or speed.

Built around an aggressive double-butted 6061 alloy road bike frame with internal cabling and a carbon fork; this racing bike frame is light, yet has excellent lateral stiffness for power in the sprints and the climbs. The carbon fibre fork reduces road buzz while still giving precise handling.

Featuring the trusted Shimano Claris R2000 STI shifters and front/rear derailleurs for reliable, slick-shifting performance. The 2x8 speed compact crankset (50/34t) features plenty of range for climbs and flat-out sprints.

The Tektro dual-pivot alloy caliper brakes provide great stopping power and easy adjustment.

Running on lightweight Alex DA16 double-wall alloy rims and 23c Kenda tyres, this bike is ready to fly.

    Key Features:

    • Aggressive double-butted alloy racing frame with internal cabling and a carbon fork for lightweight performance.
    • The latest 16-speed Shimano R2000 Claris shifters and derailleurs for reliable slick-shifting performance.
    • Alloy quick-release hubs with Alex DA16 double-wall alloy rims give you a light, strong wheelset.
    • Tektro dual-pivot alloy caliper brakes for control.

      Competent road bike

A well-built, low-cost road bike. This model would suit any rider wanting to get started in road cycling for fitness or competition. The Shimano 8-speed gearing is more than good enough for this level, but results in some big jumps between gears. I got this bike to use when I visit Australia and the Perth store helpfully set it up to my specifications. Recommended.
