Environmental Benefits of Riding a Reid Bike
Cycling has countless benefits and a lot of us ride for different reasons. Many of us ride for health reasons, others ride for the economic benefit...
Our iconic Ladies Classic with a little more. For those who want to ride in speed and style, the Ladies Classic Electric Bike offers pedal-assist riding with its powerful Bafang 250W rear hub motor and large capacity battery, allowing you to travel further, for longer.
The Reid Ladies Classic Electric Bike helps you to go wherever you need to go faster and with less effort than a conventional bike can. With several modes to choose from, you can decide how much assistance you would like. The Reid Ladies Classic Electric Bike is a great way to get about a city, whether commuting or exploring without arriving tired and sweaty. The Reid Ladies Classic eBike is a ‘pedal assist’ eBike rather than the old ‘twist throttle’ system. This is much safer and more efficient to improve range, with an easy to use handlebar mounted control unit.
Your choice of attire won’t be restricted thanks to the vintage step-through frame. This classic style means you’ll sit in an upright, ergonomic position as cruise through the countryside enjoying the amazing views. This is modern parts meets timeless design.
Our range of Electric Bikes also come with the industry leading Reid Lifetime frame warranty, 1 year or 5000km (whichever comes first) warranty on parts and 12 months of free servicing to guarantee you get a great deal.
Key Features
For online home delivery orders, bikes are shipped in a box 85% assembled and require some final assembly. For more information please see our shipping and returns page. Bikes purchased in-store are fully assembled and ready to ride.

Shipping
A flat rate of $19.99 shipping per bike is currently available to most Australian mainland (including Tasmania). For orders placed only containing parts and accessories, the delivery cost will be $9.99. For postcodes ineligible for the $19.99 flat rate, Reid Cycles offers subsidised rates to help make shipping more affordable to remote and harder to access areas. Click here for more information on subsidised rates and transit times.
Pre-Order
How do we know a bike is available for pre-order?
It's easy! Instead of seeing an 'Add to Cart' button on the product page, the button will read as 'Pre-Order'. It will also have text below the button with the estimated day of arrival at our Melbourne warehouse.
Is the estimated warehouse arrival date accurate?
After considering off all shipment processes and facts, we arrive at an estimated date. However, on occasion there may be factors outside of our control, which can cause subsequent delays - in which case, we will notify you accordingly.
What happens once my bike arrives at the warehouse?
Once it arrives, our warehouse team prepare your order and get this ready to send off with our delivery partners. This process generally takes 1-3 working days. Please allow 7-10 days to receive your order.
Pick Up In-Store
Collection from one of our stores is always free! When collected in-store, your bike comes fully assembled by an experienced Reid Cycles mechanic, adjusted, and ready to go. Once your bike is ready for collection, our store team will be in contact with you. Please allow 7-10 working days after purchase to receive communication that your bike is ready to be picked up. For more information, please click here.
Bike Assembly
Remember that bikes are shipped boxed, and 85% are assembled. The final assembly required includes the installation of the handlebars, front wheel, pedals, and saddle, adjusting the brakes, and tuning the gears. We recommend that the assembly is done by a qualified bike mechanic or another suitably qualified person. Damage caused by an incorrect assembly (such as installing the pedals the wrong way around) is not covered by your warranty. Please see our 'How to guides ' for assembly instructions if you do choose to assemble a bike yourself.

For our eScooters, we offer a 1-year Warranty on any manufacturing issues/faults
For eBike components - 1 year or 5000kms (whichever comes first). Commercial use is excluded from this warranty.

Return Policy
Our policy lasts 30 days (unless you have a warranty claim, please see our warranty info for more details). If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. For more information on our Returns Policy please click here.
Bike Servicing
When should I get my bike serviced?
As a general rule of thumb, Reid recommends you get your new bike serviced after 6 weeks of riding for adjustments as parts bed in. Following this, it makes sense to at least get a service Pre-Summer and Pre-Winter.
How do I receive my two free services?
Reid Cycles offers all of our new bike customers two free workshop services within the first 12 months of ownership. These free services are for the original owner of the bike only. Redeem these services at your local Reid Store.
What is included in my free services?
Brake adjustment, Gear adjustment (front and rear), Lubricate chain, Tyres inflated to recommended PSI, Brake pad adjustment, Check and tighten bolts, Headset check and adjust, & Suggested maintenance report.
Which Reid stores offer workshop servicing?
All of our stores have a workshop to help with all your bike needs. Just make sure you contact the store in advance to book in.
