", "\nPlus mountain bikes are simply a huge amount of fun. The extra grip eggs you on to push harder, launch bigger and stay off the brake longer into the turns. They also climb like a mountain goat and grab the trail like a vice for fast, playful descents.
\nPlus mountain bikes are the perfect platform for the beginner or intermediate rider looking to really boost their trail-blasting abilities, while promising more advanced riders an agile bike that holds the ground like a Downhill rig.
\nThe Vice 1.0 27 Plus mountain bike is built around a frame that is lightweight double-butted 6061 hydroformed alloy with a slack trail geometry and sloping top tube for riders who like to throw it around. The Suntour XCR 32 100mm travel suspension fork with lockout gives plenty of sensitivity for control, and plushness when you need it. The extra air volume in the tyres means you don’t need a big fork to take on the big stuff on a Plus bike.
\nThis mountain bike runs Tektro M280 mechanical disc brakes for stopping power and control on the trails. These well priced discs perform well in the mud and are easy for riders to maintain.
\nThe Vice 1.0 27 Plus is designed with reliable Shimano Altus 1 x 9 speed gearing to keep it simple. Riding with one cog and no front derailleur is the preferred setup for Mountain Biking. This means more clearance over rocks and logs and one less lever to think about when pushing it.
\nPlus mountain bikes run bigger tyres with higher volume - in this case 27.5 x 2.8”. This means incredible traction for climbing and descents, plus they bite into corners and soak up the hits. These bigger tyres mean wider rims; wider hubs, thru-axles and rear triangle on the frame to add stiffness and strength; a wider fork and wider spacing on the cranks to keep the chain line. This setup is known as the BOOST system and adds up to a whole lot of fun.
\nOur range of Mountain Bikes all come with the industry leading Lifetime Frame Warranty, 2 years on parts and Two Free Services within 12 months of purchase at any Reid store. Visit our stores to try the bikes or shop online for our 30 Day Test Ride to guarantee you get a great deal.

Shipping
We offer a base shipping rate from $39.99 per bike to most of Australia. Orders containing kids bikes 20" and under will receive a discounted delivery rate at checkout. For orders containing only parts and accessories, we offer a flat rate of $9.99. Click here for more information regarding shipping.
Pre-Order
How do we know a bike is available for pre-order?
It's easy! Instead of seeing an 'Add to Cart' button on the product page, the button will read as 'Pre-Order'. It will also have text below the button with the estimated day of arrival at our Melbourne warehouse.
Is the estimated warehouse arrival date accurate?
After considering off all shipment processes and facts, we arrive at an estimated date. However, on occasion there may be factors outside of our control, which can cause subsequent delays - in which case, we will notify you accordingly.
What happens once my bike arrives at the warehouse?
Once it arrives, our warehouse team prepare your order and get this ready to send off with our delivery partners. This process generally takes 1-3 working days. Please allow 7-10 days to receive your order.
Click & Collect
Collection from one of our stores is always free! When collected in-store, your bike comes fully assembled by an experienced Reid Cycles mechanic, adjusted, and ready to go. Once your bike is ready for collection, our store team will be in contact with you. Please allow 5-10 working days (allow extra time for Perth store) after purchase to receive communication that your bike is ready to be picked up. For more information, please click here.
Bike Assembly
Remember that bikes are shipped boxed, and 85% are assembled. The final assembly required includes the installation of the handlebars, front wheel, pedals, and saddle, adjusting the brakes, and tuning the gears. We recommend that the assembly is done by a qualified bike mechanic or another suitably qualified person. Damage caused by an incorrect assembly (such as installing the pedals the wrong way around) is not covered by your warranty. Please see our 'How to guides ' for assembly instructions if you do choose to assemble a bike yourself.

A Lifetime Warranty on all rigid forks (excluding our carbon fibre range)

For our eScooters, we offer a 1-year Warranty on any manufacturing issues/faults
For eBike components - 1 year or 5000kms (whichever comes first). Commercial use is excluded from this warranty.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. For more information on our Returns Policy please click here.
Bike Servicing
When should I get my bike serviced?
As a general rule of thumb, Reid recommends you get your new bike serviced after 6 weeks of riding for adjustments as parts bed in. Following this, it makes sense to at least get a service Pre-Summer and Pre-Winter.
How do I receive my two free services?
Reid Cycles offers all of our new bike customers two free workshop services within the first 12 months of ownership. These free services are for the original owner of the bike only. Redeem these services at your local Reid Store.
What is included in my free services?
Brake adjustment, Gear adjustment (front and rear), Lubricate chain, Tyres inflated to recommended PSI, Brake pad adjustment, Check and tighten bolts, Headset check and adjust, & Suggested maintenance report.
Which Reid stores offer workshop servicing?
All of our stores have a workshop to help with all your bike needs. Just make sure you contact the store in advance to book in.
