Ride for Life Challenge

Ride for Life Challenge

Sunday 6th November, 2016 - Sunday 6th November, 2016

See full event details here

The Challenge starts and finishes at Northshore Riverside Park, Hamilton. There is only one course and it’s 87km. What’s unique about this ride is instead of choosing a distance you feel comfortable with, you choose your speed. There are 7 speed categories to choose from so everyone completes the same course at their own pace. You’ll stick with your speed category for the entire challenge.

The Ride for Life Challenge raises money for two very worthy beneficiaries - Guide Dogs Queensland and MND and Me Foundation. One qualified guide dog, for one person costs $35,000. Participating in and fundraising for this charity bike ride will help over 1,500 Queenslanders and their families.

The MND and Me Foundation supports people and families living with motor neuron disease in Queensland. Funds from RIde for Life Challenge will help them continue their work in care, community building, research and awareness.
