At home on the road, on river paths or even gravel - the Original City is an all-rounder that packs speed, comfort and durability into one affordable bike.

One bike to do-it-all - and look good while doing it. The Original City is a simple hybrid bike, built around a tough steel frame with carefully chosen parts to give you an affordable ride that you can rely on.

Steel is a strong, flexible material that gives top performance for the money. It makes for a bomb-proof bike that soaks up road vibration, giving you a comfortable ride no matter which route you choose to take.

Proven Shimano Tourney 1 x 7 twist-shift gearing keeps things simple with all the range you’ll need in the city, but without a front derailleur to get knocked around in the bike rack. Fewer moving parts means less to maintain, so you can just get on and ride.

True to the simplified nature of this bike, the brakes are alloy V for easy maintenance and operation.

The Original City runs on wide 32 millimeter commuter tyres fitted to durable double-wall alloy rims to withstand the rigours of urban riding.

Key Features:

  • Reid Steel Frame
  • Alloy V-Brakes for easy maintenance and controlled braking
  • 700 x 32C commuter tyres
  • 7-speed gearing
  • Hybrid bike geometry for a upright, comfort ride
  • Quality Shimano Tourney components.

    Sweet Ride

Needed a cheap but good bike for getting around with the kids etc , bought this from the Ascot Vale store after talking to the guy in store about what he thought was best and he was right, it's a great bike.

Nice and simple but feels strong and dependable, its a pleasure to ride.

I was using a kmart bike before that kept breaking down, I should've just gone straight to Reid and bought this instead of wasting my money.

    Great bike. Does the job.

It does everything I wanted it to do. I've had no problems with it. I would recommend it to anyone needing to ride around the suburbs and city. I love the colour—British racing green.
