The Original Road is a classically styled steel road bike with modern components. A simple and versatile roadie that packs speed, comfort and durability into one affordable bike.
With a classic road geometry for a more upright riding position; the Original Road bike is made for everyday riding - from the daily commute, through to distance on the weekend.
Steel is a strong, flexible material that gives top performance for the money. It soaks up the bumps and gives improved flex for responsiveness and comfort on those long days in the saddle.
Shimano Tourney 2x7 gearing is a proven workhorse for light and reliable every-day operation. This configuration keeps it simple but gives you all the range you’ll need.
This road bike features Dual-Pivot caliper brakes for ease of use and adjustability. Dual-pivot means that instead of old-fashioned brake callipers that lever off the central bolt, the brakes lever off two separate pivot points to increase braking power, feel and control.
The Original Road runs on light, strong double-wall alloy road rims with Kenda road race tyres for a fast-rolling ride.
Key Features:
- Upright road geometry on a durable and flexible Hi-Ten steel frame. Features thin-profile tubing for that classic look.
- Shimano Tourney A070 front and rear derailleurs (2x7) with Shimano 7-speed freewheel (14-28t) for simple, wide-ranging operation.
- Double walled alloy rims with Kenda road tyres for a fast-rolling ride.
- 12.37kg

Buy One, Plant One
Since January 2020 we have partnered with Eden Reforestation Projects to donate enough money to pay a local person a fair wage to grow, plant and guard to maturity 1 native tree for every bike we sell.
We've now planted more than 200,000 trees and counting.
