Our popular Urban X hybrid bike range is designed for a fast urban commute. The Urban X2.5 is stable and comfortable for everyday use, has agile handling for control in traffic and makes a great city commuter bike.

The Urban X2.5 features some key upgrades including Shimano Alivio gearing and Shimano M315 hydraulic disc brakes that make this bike the ultimate all-conditions commuter. Shimano M315 hydraulic disc brakes for fine control and real braking bite when you need it - even in the wet. Hydraulic discs give more control than any other braking option.

The Urban X2.5 features urban hybrid bike geometry, a lightweight hydroformed 6061 alloy frame with smooth welding, internal sealed bearing headset and internal cabling. This hybrid bike is designed to give you an aggressive riding position for speed and handling, but slightly upright for everyday comfort and allowing for the visibility you need in traffic.

Crisp shifting Shimano Alivio drivetrain for reliable performance and a wide range of gears to make the ride easy. Performance urban wheelset with alloy hubs, Alex DC19 alloy disc specific rims and running Continental Contact Speed 700 x 35C puncture protected tyres. This wheelset is designed to roll fast and light while being tough enough to handle the knocks of every day use.

Amazing bicycle. This is my second one, the first one was stolen. I had it for over a year and no problem at all.

    Durable and reliable

I bought this bike back in 2018 and has not missed a beat. I figured a review after many usage would be very beneficial to the community. I have done thousands of KM for commuting to work (1hour each way), climbed up many hills, gravel riding, and bunch of trails around Vic. Whilst it is heavy compared to a road bike (but 2-4 times the price) this bike has been solid and very reliable. Disc brakes are reliable and easy to maintain too. Highly recommend this bike. The key to longevity of any bike is cleaning it at least 1-2 per month or after a muddy/dirty ride, weekly chain lubricant, and changing parts as they wear out.
