X-Trail 27.5

Now running on the 27.5 wheel size, our popular X-Trail has had an upgrade. Ready for cross-country XC adventures and good times on singletrack trails, this bike is now even tougher, faster and more fun than ever before.

  • Suntour XCT 100mm travel suspension fork with hydraulic lockout and preload adjustment
  • Powerful Tektro disc brakes for all-conditions control
  • Shimano Altus 24-speed gearing with all the range to get you smoothly up the hill and quickly down again.

Built around the 27.5 (650B) standard, the new X-Trail is up to spec and ready to roll. 27.5 is now the most common MTB wheel size and is widely regarded as the perfect diameter for nimble handling and rolling over obstacles with ease.

Flick the mechanical lock-out, and the Suntour XCT 100mm travel fork becomes rigid, ideal for fast climbs and hard sprinting. When the trail points down, powerful mechanical disc brakes, 24-speed Shimano Altus gearing and 2.10" tyres you power and control.

If your bike needs to be able to do double-duty as a commuter, the X-Trail is ready for that too. With the option to add mudguards and a rear rack, plus a commanding riding position, the X-Trail will serve you well in the urban jungle. Ask our team about our range of suitable mudguards and pannier racks.

The surcharge will be applied to your cart during the checkout process.

We do not ship outside of Australia. If you live overseas and would like to buy a Reid bike please visit our international website to view a list of retailers.

Estimated dispatch & shipping times:

Orders for items that are currently in stock are usually dispatched within 1 to 2 working days (business days only). You'll receive an email with tracking information once the order has been dispatched. • SA: 4-7 business days
  • QLD: 4-7 business days

Click & Collect - In-store pickup:

Collection from one of our stores is always free! When collected in-store, your bike comes fully assembled by an experienced Reid Cycles mechanic, adjusted and ready to go.

The store will receive your order, assemble your bike and give you a call within 2-5 days advising when your bike can be picked up. Whenever possible, we recommend collection in store. See full details on Click and Collect here.

Assembly:

Remember that bikes are shipped boxed, and 85% assembled. The final assembly required includes the installation of the handlebars, front wheel, pedals and saddle, adjusting the brakes and tuning the gears. We recommend that the assembly is done by a qualified bike mechanic or another suitably qualified person. Damage caused by an incorrect assembly (such as installing the pedals the wrong way around) is not covered by your warranty.

Please see our 'How to guides' for assembly instructions if you do choose to assemble a bike yourself.

Delivery method:

It's always best to send to an address that always has someone in attendance, such as a business address. You may also want to give our courier an 'authority to leave' instruction. Only give us an 'authority to leave' if you're confident that the delivery will be safe. Otherwise, the courier can leave a 'sorry we missed you' card, allowing you to arrange re-delivery.

Warranty:

  • A lifetime Warranty on every Reid bike frame we sell.
  • A lifetime Warranty on all rigid forks, including our carbon fibre range.
  • A 2-year Warranty on all suspension forks, Shimano components and Mavic wheelsets.
  • A 2-year Warranty on all other non-consumable components.
