With modern cross-country trail riding geometry and specifications, the Xenon is built to get dirty. The entry into the Reid 29er range, this is a confidence inspiring mountain bike for riders looking to get amongst it.
Bringing added strength where it matters, the Xenon 29er mountain bike has been designed from the ground up to be a fast and capable trail riding machine. Although still a versatile platform for all kinds of riding, the Xenon is at home in the dirt.
Smart spec choices mean you can push yourself in the knowledge the mountain bike is made to handle the rough stuff - from technical rocky climbs, to twisting singletrack descents. Welcome to Mountain Biking.
The frame is a lightweight double-butted 6061 hydroformed alloy with a modern cross-country/trail geometry. Featuring mounts for a rear rack and drink bottle, you can still set this mountain bike up to perform many duties. A Suntour XCM 100mm travel suspension fork gives smooth control over broken ground and enough bounce to soak up the hits of trail riding. The Hydraulic Lock Out feature will be appreciated by riders looking to maximise efficiency on big climbs.
Stopping duties are assumed by the popular Tektro M275 Hydraulic Disc brakes. Hydraulics offer more power with less lever force required than other systems, which gives better modulation and control in all mountain bike riding conditions. Shimano 2x9 speed gearing gives the range you need for extremes, while shifting quickly and crisply in technical trail situations.
Coupled with 29 x 2.25” WTB Nineline tyres, this 29er mountain bike holds the trail for a fast and responsive ride. The Xenon 29er runs on durable and fast WTB ST i-25 rims to handle the knocks, and a WTB Volt Sport saddle to keep you comfortable throughout.
Key Features:
- Tough and lightweight double-butted 6061 hydroformed aluminium alloy frame with modern trail/cross-country (XC) geometry for improved trail performance.

Buy One, Plant One
Since January 2020 we have partnered with Eden Reforestation Projects to donate enough money to pay a local person a fair wage to grow, plant and guard to maturity 1 native tree for every bike we sell.
We've now planted more than 200,000 trees and counting.
