Get what you pay for... Review by Matt
Looks good with stickers removed and a colour change. All things considered, it was an OK buy considering its position as the cheapest single speed in Australia, and will serve its purpose. Cheaper than catching the bus! (Posted on 2/02/2016)
Great road bike Review by MatB
I haven't ridden a bike for years and I knew jumping straight into a single speed would be tough, especially with hills where I live but I figured it would make for good exercise.

So far so good. I've commuted to and from work (20k round trip) a few times and taken the local bike tracks and she's a smooth bike. Solid and reliable so far.

Thinking about a flip flop hub soon, or might wait until I upgrade to the Harrier.

Looks good, rides well and feels smooth. If you're thinking of getting a fixie, I definitely recommend the Griffon.

Great customer service - Collingwood Store Review by Kade
Picked up my new Griffen last week and it's running like a dream. Special thanks to the staff at the Collingwood store who went above and beyond with their amazing customer service (props to Andrew who served me). It's one thing to provide a quality product but you can't go wrong with having great staff and service also! (Posted on 31/08/2015)
You get what you pay for Review by Neil
I bought a small griffon as a spare bike for airbnb guests to use, none have yet, so i started using it as a station bike and for that its absolutely perfect. I don't really buy into the whole fixie thing, expecially in this country where the weather conditions mean you never really see the maintenance benefits, its not like we have to ride on salt gritted roads. That said, for the money the griffon is awesome, looks good, seems well put together, the brakes are pretty effective and if some scumbag steals it, well, not the end of the world. So, if you want a cheap pub/station bike and cant be bothered trawling ebay for a second hand bike then get one of these. If you just want to ponce around on a fixie showing off your beard, then also buy one. Good on you Reid for seeing the market for a low priced, high volume bike thats not a supermarket special horror made out of reject scaffolding tubes... (Posted on 5/11/2014)
Competitive price for a descent bike Review by James
Bought a Griffon to commute to work on and its riding as I hoped, fast and realiably. Only concern so far is the seat keeps coming loose and needs to be tighten really tight. (Posted on 7/08/2014)
Fantastic Sales Person Review by Brad
I am writing to thank [name removed] at your Brisbane store for the way he
helped me with the purchase of a new Griffon bike -- he was courteous,
polite and very professional -- I felt it was necessary to let you know as
so often people will complain when things are bad but do not give credit
when things are good -- and on a note about the bike , the bike itself is
great but the body now riding it needs a bit of work

Reid Cycles ships bikes, parts and accessories anywhere in Australia!

Free shipping of bikes is available to most metropolitan and some regional areas. We also combined shipping wherever possible to keep the price down. Once you have one or more items in your cart, view your cart, pop your postcode in and we'll give you the combined shipping price. We are currently unable to ship to overseas addresses, please contact our customer services team to enquire about distributors in your area.

We aim to keep the price as low as possible by shipping smaller items for free if they can be shipped with larger items. Helmets, shoes and parts most often ship for free with your new bike!

Remember that bikes are shipped boxed, and 85% assembled. The final assembly required includes the installation of the handlebars, front wheel, pedals and saddle, adjusting the brakes and tuning the gears. We recommend that the assembly is done by a qualified bike mechanic or other suitably qualified person. Damage caused by incorrect assembly (such as installing the pedals the wrong way around) is not covered by your warranty.

Orders for items that are currently in stock are usually despatched within 1 to 2 working days. You'll receive an email with tracking information once the order has been despatched. Certain periods of the year are seasonably busy, with much higher volumes than normal. At these times, we still aim to despatch within 1 to 2 days, but deliveries may take a little longer due to our couriers' workload.

It's always best to send to an address that always has someone in attendance, such as a business address. You may also want to give our courier an 'authority to leave' instruction, which is an instruction to say that there is a safe place leave to delivery, even if there is no one there to take delivery. Only give us an 'authority to leave' if you're confident that the delivery will be safe. Otherwise, the courier can leave a 'sorry we missed you' card, allowing you to arrange redelivery.

Please contact us if you have any questions.

In Store Collection in one of our stores is always free! Your bike comes fully assembly, adjusted and ready to go. You can order online for pickup in store.
