      Not a smooth ride

My husband recently purchased this bike for me to replace another one I had that was similar. Bought the small as I am 154cm and 65kg and unfortunately even with lots of adjustments the frame just does not feel right when riding. The front guard hits your feet as you ride/turn, the gears do not work smoothly, we enquired before buying if this would be okay for a child seat and we’re informed yes, however even being within the weight range with a child attached the bike cannot ride properly with the extra weight (85kg altogether roughly). The main things being turning and feeling stable on this bike is a nightmare. My husband emailed Reid to discuss what to do and being just over 30 days (2 days past) they were very unhelpful in their response on how to get a good fit with this bike and essentially I need a different bike. Reid have no constructive or helpful feedback and unwilling to help any further. Apparently the gears also need to be calibrated however this information was no where to be found and only came to light over email as 1st gear doesn’t work and changing gears is extremely clunky. Very disappointing customer service and I would be very hesitant to buy one of their bikes again. Unfortunately we are not in a state with one of their stores so can only look online. Would not recommend this bike unless you’re riding on completely flat and straight path and even still being within the height and weight ranges you may find it does not ride well. Looks great, doesn’t…

I LOVE HER!!! SO so happy with this bike, she rides beautifully, looks so sleek and is the perfect mix of stylish and practical. It’s also so great to have smooth gears for those hills.
