A modern, trail-ready 29er Mountain Bike has never been so accessible. Getting started but want an MTB you can rely on as your riding progresses? Meet the new Tract 1.  With the latest wide-range Shimano Acera 1x8 gearing, Suntour XCT30 DS 100mm fork and Tektro hydraulic disc brakes to deliver a feature packed 29er hardtail Mountain Bike built to get you started on Australian trails.

NOTE: The Tract 1 now features the latest wide-range Shimano Acera 1x8 gearing (this is an upgrade and the main image above shows the previous crankset).

Designed for riders who are looking for a quality entry to the world of Mountain Biking on proper trails, singletrack and XC; the Tract range brings the most up-to-date standards in MTB geometry and specification at this value price point.

Light, fast and designed for a confidence inspiring ride, the Tract hydroformed double-butted alloy frame features slacker angles and a low-slung top tube for manoeuvrability and control in corners and descents. Geometry and spec choices on this bike were made specifically for off-road and trail performance.

Well balanced and dialled for all-round riding - this bike climbs, descends and covers cross-country distance with ease. With internal gear cabling and rigged with mounts for a drink bottle, rear rack and kickstand; you can set this bike up to perform many duties.

The reliable SR Suntour XCT30 DS 100mm travel suspension fork gives smooth control over broken ground and enough bounce to soak up the hits.

29 inch wheels are the modern standard for Mountain Biking and getting on a 29er has never been as accessible as the Tract. 29 x 2.25” Wanda MTB tyres coupled with durable double-wall alloy rims will hold the ground for a fast and responsive ride.

Braking power and control is delivered by trusted Tektro Hydraulic Disc with 160mm rotors. Hydraulics offer more power with less lever force required than other systems, which gives better modulation and control in all riding conditions.

The Reid Tract range is the best value way to get into Mountain Biking on a progressive, trail-ready 29er MTB that is built to take the demands of the sport. The Tract is a real-deal MTB built from the ground up for singletrack, jumps, rocks, technical climbs and fast descents.
