The PD-R550 pedal offers an extra wide contact surface for more efficient power transmission. The resistant surfaces of the plastic pedal body ensure a long service life. A contact surface of the cleats that is wider than the previous version ensures optimal power transmission. A very long service life of the pedals is achieved through the complex sealing of the bearing in connection with the rust-free nickel chrome steel axle .
