Built around a tough but lightweight 6061 alloy frame with progressive MTB geometry optimised for easy handling, the Tract Jr 26 brings all the modern standards of a proper Mountain Bike for older kids and early teens growing into the sport.
The lightweight 50mm travel front suspension fork gives control and comfort over the bumps; while the powerful disc brakes (with levers optimised for younger riders) mean kids aged 10-13 (145-165cm) can grow in confidence on a bike they can easily handle.
This is a Mountain Bike built to handle rough treatment and features double wall alloy rims and 2.35” tyres for off-road performance, plus Shimano 1x8-speed Altus gearing for speed and easy changes through the range. Running a 1x (no front derailleur) is the modern standard for MTB to enable faster gear changing and better obstacle clearance.
Finished with quality alloy parts for weight savings and durability in all-conditions, the Tract Jr is the perfect ride for your growing kids to push themselves while exploring their world.
Key Features:
- Lightweight, hydroformed 6061 alloy frame with sloping top-tube for easy standover and control.
- Powerful disc brakes for confidence-inspiring handling in all conditions.
- Shimano 1 x 8 speed Altus gearing for improved clearance over obstacles, weight savings and fewer moving parts.
- Tween optimised contact points (handlebars, grips, saddle and pedals) that have been sized to suit young and teen riders.
- Lightweight 50mm suspension fork for comfort and control.
- Quality alloy parts, wheelset and sealed bearing bottom bracket to withstand years of use and abuse.

Buy One, Plant One
Since January 2020 we have worked with not-for-profit reforestation partners to donate enough money to pay a local person a fair wage to grow, plant and guard to maturity 1 native tree for every bike we sell.
We've now planted more than 400,000 trees and counting!
