Top 5 Bicycle Date Ideas

Are you stuck for date ideas? Whether it's for Valentine's Day or just wanting to spend some time together doing something different. We've put together a few of our favourite bicycle date ideas for you and your partner to enjoy!

Date 1: Ride around the world in one night!

Pick many local restaurants/cafes/bars with different cuisines, and the 'world is your oyster'. There is plenty to choose from Pizzas in Italy, Spanish Tapas, German Beer or French Croissants. Being on your bicycle makes it super convenient to get from place to place, so there is no need to worry about taxis, parking or public transport.

Date 2: The go-to Romantic picnic.

When we think of a bicycle date, the first thing that comes to mind is a picnic. So simple and easy to plan and makes for such a perfect date. Put together a collection of your favourite foods (even a cheeky bottle of wine) and ride down to your famous park or picturesque location. It's made even more perfect with our vintage bikes as you can put the basket on the front to make it extra convenient (plus it makes for a super cute photo). Date 3: Go city exploring!

What better way to explore the city than on two wheels. It's faster than walking, cheaper than a taxi and so much better than getting onto a crowded tram or train. Listen to the buskers, watch street performers, stop off for a coffee or panini at one of the many cafes. There is so much to see and do!

Date 4: Spend the day beach hopping!

If you are lucky enough to live somewhere coastal, why not spend the day cycling from coast to beach? No need to worry about getting sand in the car, and it's the best way to make the most of the sunshine and fresh air! Throw your towel over your shoulder, fill your basket with some water and snacks (and don't forget the sunscreen) and get riding! Make the daytime date into a night time one by riding down, finding a spot on the sand and watching the beautiful sunset.

Date 5: A bike ride down memory lane.

This one could be a good one to save for Valentine's day or an anniversary. Make a list of any places of significance, i.e. the place you met, the spot of your first kiss, your favourite place, any funny memories etc. Combine this with a picnic and hello Romeo!
