Our Vice 1.0 offers exceptional traction on the trails at a price that won’t break the bank. The Vice 1.0 is the first model in our plus mountain bike range, and offers the intermediate rider ability to grow their skills, roll over anything and grip the trail with confidence.

27.5+ creates a middle ground between two existing standards: Fat Mountain Bikes, with 26 x 3.8in – 5.0in tyres, and traditional Mountain Bikes, whose tyres generally range from 2 to 2.5in wide. Riders have come to love the additional traction and float offered by Fat Bikes, but still like the more nimble handling and speed offered by more traditional Mountain Bikes. So taking the best bits from both and creating a MTB bike to offer the benefits, with little compromise seemed the perfect solution.

\n

Plus bikes climb like a mountain goat and grab the trail like a vice on the corners and descents for a fast, playful ride. These mountain bikes are the perfect platform for the beginner or intermediate rider looking to really boost their trail-blasting abilities, while promising more advanced riders an agile bike that holds the ground like a DH rig.

\n

Plus bikes are rapidly becoming the norm in Mountain Biking. Sharing many of the characteristics of its bigger brothers, the Vice 1.0 is a great entry point to this new standard in trail riding.

\n

The Vice 1.0 features a dialled performance MTB bike geometry and is built around a Custom 6061 Alloy 27+ Boost Frame with rear thru axle and tapered steerer, designed to reduce weight and enhance stiffness. The Suntour XCR32 Fork provides a smooth, comfortable ride no matter how rough the trial is.

\n

This mountain bike features performance Tektro M280 mechanical disc brakes which provide endless stopping power. A Shimano HG201 speed gearing provides a huge range of gears to climb the steepest of hills. Chaoyang 27. x 2.8″ tyres are wide and stable but also offer great handling and speed.

\n

Our range of Mountain Bikes all include the industry-leading Reid Warranty: lifetime on frame and rigid forks, 2 years on non-consumable parts and 2 free services within the first 12 months. We also offer our Online customers a 30 Day Test Ride to guarantee you get a great deal.
